Godzilla Rulers of Earth 01-02 (2013) Comic Review

In 2011 IDW started publishing Godzilla comics the new Godzilla movie might have brought mass interest back toward the giant radioactive king of the monsters, but these comics payed tribute to everything Godzilla related.

There are 2 reason for reviewing this comic:

•    The treatment of Zilla who had been made fun by the hardcore Godzilla fans and his last appearance in Final Wars was disappointing(yeah the movie is bad but the cartoon is awesome more on this later).  

• The second reason is quite simple I need to do something special with the new movie on the horizon.

Now let's move on to cover analysis.

The 1st cover is pretty awesome, but some of the monsters on the cover aren't in this issue or if they are they 1 panel cameo.
Maybe this cover is supposed to be used for the collection edition showcasing all the monsters.

The second issue cover is also great it show the monsters Zilla and Godzilla ready to fight and they are beautifully drawn and they appear to be sitting on equal ground.

Fairy Tales Movies of 2013 Review

***Start_Of_Log*** Well it's seems that 2013 it's at an end and lot of things happened this year but one thing comes to mind when I think of this year.That thing is Fairy Tales , like I said lots of things happened this year but I chose something different in order in order to be unique ;) .  
Now back to Fairy Tales they seem to be on the rise whether they be movies 
or TV shows
or even comics
now i know that some of the properties that I listed started before 2013 some started 2012 while others started 2005 but they lasted up to this year and that's pretty impressive now a days.

Today I'm going to look at 3 different movies(you already know witch ones) witch represent 3 different approaches to fairy tales movies adaptations.

Detentionaire Season 1 (2011-2012) 1st Impression

So I've been watching this show lately and it's really good and I decided to make a 1st impression of the 1st season that I just finished.

But let me tell you the story of how I found this cartoon.So I was checking the new episode list on one of my watching sites when I saw it and I thought to myself this sure looks interesting and I gave It watch but I realized that I had not clue on what's going on so I when to the beginning to learn you know the plot.

Not the actual episode that I 1st saw, but close enough 

So let's get started with the plot.But the intro, it's good and tell you a bit of the plot, but also they did the smart thing by not showing the intro in the 1st episode, well done guys that was actually smart.

Ultraman Ginga Ep01 Town of Falling Stars Review

Ultraman Ginga is 50th anniversary of the Ultraman franchise and Tsuburaya Productions decided to take the Gokaiger and Decade with this show you can deice for yourself if that is good or not but for me this is a good idea because they can use old suits without bringing their  human actors if they don't wanna come or worse but Ultraman isn't like Sentai and Kamen Rider humans don't become Ultraman an Ultraman turns into a human or uses him as a host when needed (at least i think that it works like this ,I've seen this in the Zero movies).

Now the big question is how to turn into old heroes

Cards?

keys ? other ?

No, action figures as the base of the power and a device that turns the hero into a superhero.
Because you know toys sales will go thru the roof (I've had to steal this joke).
Now the only problem that I have with these figures is that they are too big for real life they are okay but for the story perspective they are too big the kid won't be able to carry to many of them.What if he needs a specific toy in order to win the battle.
They would have been better if they did something in the style of Marvel Battle Dice come on you remember these. 

They are small and easy to carry.
Now let's get back to the episode at hand.

Ben 10 Omniverse T.G.I.S. Review

Greetings and bienvenue to my T.G.I.S. Review
It's finally here the Ben 10/The Secret Saturdays crossover episode although it aired a few months ago in Arabic countries it's finally here so you can be disappointed in English.

First  I am a huge Secret Saturdays fan I watched it when I was at a crossroads of sorts before my critique persona emerged and before I started to look at things more maturely so I can't tell you how excited I was when they 1st announced this crossover then I saw their designs.

 But first of all let me explain the story of these cartoons.

Ben 10 is about a kid named Ben that found an alien device called Omnimatrix witch can turn him into 10 aliens originally but the number increased during the 4 versions of the show (Original Series, Alien Force,Ultimate Alien and Omniverse the current one).
BTW i hate the new design for the Omnitrix the Ultimatrix was better design wise and functionality wise, it could evolve the aliens (somehow don't ask me ) into stronger forms. Overall the show was pretty funny and action  packed
Zak Saturday and his parents, Doc and Drew, are a family of world-saving scientists called "The Secret Saturdays". They usually travel the world investigating reports of Cryptids and trying to kept them secret from the world instead of you know showing them .The show mostly revolves Zak and his powers that can control Cryptids, his parents are part of the  Secret Scientists and their expertise is Cryptozoology witch is an actual science.

The Saturdays had an Easter egg regarding the Ben 10 franchise in 1 episode when they check their Crime Data Base we see a familiar face

There are supposed to be more cameos in the show but this is all I could find.

***Start_Of_Log*** Welcome to part 4 of my list here I will be talking the about Disney era of Power Rangers witch includes Wild Force, Ninja Storm ,Dino Thunder and much more but i will be talking about those 3 seasons and see witch powers and zords survived and could appear in Super Megaforce (but probably won't :( ).

Digimon: Xros Wars VS Fusion

***Start_Of_Log*** If you know me from my Youtube days you know that I am a big Xros Wars fan and this comparison was unavoidable.

Don't get me wrong I was happy when Saban got the rights back to Digimon and the announcement that they will dubbing Xros Wars to English but then I saw the 1st episode i was kinda disappointing so i am doing this post pointing out the differences and witch series is better.

So let's start with Lost Galaxy personally i don't consider Lost Galaxy as part of the Zordon Era to it's more like an epilogue to that era and a bridge to the new era, It more like a statement "the Zodron era was ended but the power rangers haven't ".

Someone asked me once what is the purpose of this list well the purpose of this list is to inform people about the remaining powers/zords that could appear in Super Megaforce , personally i would like to see all of these things in the show but that's kinda impossible due to the budget of the show.I am just telling what survived and I will try to explain how they can bring things back also because of spoilers i won't be describing how that happened.

Eureka Seven AO: Astral Ocean Ep01 Born Slippy Review

The original Eureka Seven is a classic to me manly because i watched it after seeing the clusterf****k that is The End of Evangelion and Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death &and Rebirth those movies suck major ass and after watching those Eureka Seven was like a can fresh air to my mind ,i love everything about the series the characters ,the world ,the mechs and the story.

 And when i heard that a new series was going to be made and in canon with the original series i was so excited and then i got busy and only recently i've got watch some episodes (English dubbed done by Funimation Entertainment :) )
BTW  the same  thing happened with Aquarion Evol but the connection with the original isn't as strong as with this one .

Now to the episode at hand.

Some Things That I Want To See On Super Megaforce Part I

With the 21 season of Power Rangers under way and this month being the celebration when the first season 1st aired  I decided to make this list with ALL the powers/zords/megazords that have survived the show's long run. So with that in mind i've been re-watching the old seasons looking for thing that could apear in Super Megaforce.So I will start Mighty Morphin and go up until Samurai.

And yes i couldn't think of a better title for this list and if you find some spelling errors sorry i've made in a hurry in order to put on time.The connection between the  title and the list is that i want to see all the thing that have survived the end of the season like powers zords and so on.
During some events the Rangers lose their powers  and zords but in later episode(team-up episodes ) they have them back and i wanted to address the continuity issues and show when they didn't lose set zords and powers.

But 1st let's talk bit about Super Megaforce  yeesh the freaking name SUPER MEGAFORCE guess what the name of the current season just guess....well it is Megaforce who came up with this 5 year old ...come to think of it a 5 years old wouldn't be this stupid.I mean i kinda accepted it when they did with Samurai and Super Samurai.

From what i heard they will be merging 2 season (like in Mighty Morphin, season 2 uses mech from a different Sentai series ) why would you do this, I mean think of the characters they act completely different in the Sentai shows.
Or are they afrait that they will screw the team-up episode like they did with the movie Clash of the Red Rangers .

The movie freaking sucked only 1 of the RPM rangers showed up this wouldn't have bother me too much but they used footage from the Sentai footage contained also a team-up with ALL THE RANGERS AND A MEGAZORD TEAM-UP wow Saban from creating your own awesome team-ups to been out-shined by Disney.BTW this aired/was made when the company had some financial problems(from what i heard ) so who thought that this would be a good idea "we are having some financial problems so let's do a special episode that requires less Sentai footage and more actors to pay and more special effects".

I mean Saban actually did their own MEGAZORD TEAM-UP BATTLE and now when the have the footage they don't used awesome just fucking awesome.

If they got that super essay to adapt movie wrong  what  you think  that they will  do with this movie:

BTW is called Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle

That movie uses ALL OF THE SUPER SENTAI TEAMS in one gigantic battle and if that isn't awesome enough they also use all of the old Megazords in the final battle.

Now you know the most likely the reason for the merging of the seasons is that they don't have enough footage for the show.
Power Rangers adaptations started with Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger but in Super Snetai there are like 15 more teams that weren't adapted into Power Rangers and Gokaiger use them a lot (yes I know there is a preSaban adaptation of a show) so yeah they are to cheap to film new stuff.

Now you are probably thinking geez  you've been brutal towards the show give it a break it is a kid show after all.Good point but that doesn't mean it have to be stupid and cheap kids are smarter than you think  and good intelligent shows can develop their minds.
So if you are wondering why kids are getting stupider look no further.
