Captain America 2 The Winter Soldier (2014) 1st Impressions

***Start_Of_Log***
going to say this right from the start I haven't (currently, it's on my to read list) the Winder Soldier story arc from Captain America Volume 5.At this point I don't know if it follows the story.
But I think that it doesn't because this storyline came in the wake of  Avengers Disassembled and some of the characters weren't introduced and there's was another element that was in the Avengers and now it's in Asgard and I'm a huge nerd that went on a tangent.
Now I know that I haven't looked at Captain America The First Avenger (2011) and I'm not saying that it's a bad movie, but it's mostly just a trailer for the Avengers. Don't believe me? Check out Honest Trailers ...trailer.
Also, how can he be the First Avenger if the team wasn't built yet?

He should have been an Invader like in the comics, Captain America The First Invader yeah that sounds much better and more accurate.
Maybe I will do list of things that should  have been included in that movie like the Invaders,Namor or Wolverine.
This movie isn't just a trailer for Avengers 2 Age of Ultron or for Captain America 3 its a stand alone story that's so good it compensates for the flaws of the 1st one.

It appears that all of the movies from Marvel's Phase 2 movies are better (except for Iron Man 3 it's okay but I still can't forgive it for the Mandarin).
Okay it's time to wrap-up this spoiler free section of the post if thought that the 1st movie was bad, go see this movie if you enjoy conspiracies go see this movie.

This movie has a pretty strong plot so far I can't think of any plot holes at this time I have some problems with some characters but those are super-minor.

If you have the courage to click on the read more it will take you to the spoil zone, but I will try not to give away the big ones.

All-New Ghost Rider 001 (2014) Review

***Start_Of_Log***
Well, since we are near Easter this week I've decided to look at this comic because hey the theme of the week is resurrection.

The original Ghost Rider was Johnny Blaze, who made a deal with the devil to save his foster father then the devil kill him because he is the devil (Mephisto).
You probably know him from that Ghost Rider movie from 2007 with Nicolas Cage I would make a joke that the movie is bad but the sequel is even worse and it makes the original better.

He lost his powers several times, but recover them almost every time.

His last appearance was in last Ghost Rider series from 2011 were he was powerless and kinda of a mentor figure to the new Ghost Rider Alejandra Jones.

Unfornaetly that series only lasted for 10 issues (if you count  the 0.1) but it had a crossover with Venom, Red Hulk,X-23 in Circle of Four Google "we smash for vengeance" you won't be disappointed.

Anyway, that series ended with Johnny is getting back the Spirit of Vengeance, but Alejandra managed to keep a part of the power because the supercharged the Spirit of Vengeance or something like that.

Now she seeks vengeance against Blaze because she lost her powers.

And that's the end you might think we're all caught up with the history of Ghost Rider right? Wrong.

In issue 20.NOW of the Thunderbolts (the new team formed and lead by Rulk) he joined the team in order to stop someone magic based.

Got that all of that? Good throw out the window because this series isn't about Johnny Blaze it's about this new guy.

Also, JB joined the Thunderbolts in march of 2014 and this comic was published in may and in the may issue of the Thunderbolts he is still a member so how the fuck did this guy get the powers again ?
But I'm getting ahead of myself.

Okay, enough backstory, let's look at the cover let's see we have Ghost Rider ,Ghost Rider in human form and Ghost Rider's car collect them all.

Okay the cover isn't bad, it's quite well actually it's show everything that you need to know about this comic and I freaking love his skull in his Ghost Rider form.

New Warriors V4 001 (2014) Review

***Start_Of_Log***
With Marvel's new titling strategy I'm surprised that this isn't called All-New Warriors, but New is already part of the title so it should be All-New New Warriors. Also, why are they called New Warriors ? Because they aren't "New" the should call themselves the Warriors.
The cover of the comic is great we have all our characters on the cover and plus in the background we can see the 2 letters of the name of the team NW combing and forming this cool new symbol maybe I'll do something similar with my name someday.
My knowledge of this team is somewhat limited.I've only read the 2005 miniseries witch went into Civil War and less I mention the New Warrios and Civil War the better and I'm currently reading volume 3 witch started with Initiative (also I'm reading the Initiative issues).Basically, they are like the Teen Titans teen heroes fighting crime.

Now let's play a game of how many characts can I recognize on the cover:let's see in 1 row we have the new Nova Sam,next to Nova on the right it's Kaine the Scarlet Spider,on Nova left there's Speedball who was Penance at one time. That's all that I know the guy with the cape looks familiar, but he's too young on the cover to be him.

Ms. Marvel 001 (2014) Review

***Start_Of_Log***
I don't know what to say about this comic, it's not bad, but it's weird, so no elaborate introduction this week.

The cover is pretty awesome and symbolic it just show your main character Kamala Khan wearing the classic Ms Marvel shirt. She isn't fully in the Ms Marvel costume, witch because she didn't become she isn't fully worthy yet she is just staring out.

The other cover is a bit overkill in my opinion.
We have her in the Ms Marvel costume which she doesn't use.In the left corner and in the background we have Carol Danvers as Captain Marvel.

Now I've read that Khaaaaaaan (sorry, but I had to do it ) has 1st appeared in the Captain Marvel books but I haven't reached that far.
